picture update

not as good as I'd hoped. Their poses are always so unnatural and ridiculous, and I should have given myself bigger hair and leaned into Rob more. They had us turned sideways, so you can't even see the dress well enough to compare it to previous pictures.

That said, it wasn't too terrible to post this year, so I'll do that once I have access to a scanner.

The party went fine, but I'm starting to think that I don't want to go to any more of them. Not only did I embarrass myself twice in less than 3 hours even though I only had two glasses of wine (one of which was involved in embarrassment #1, when I spilled it down the front of my dress while introducing my husband to a co-worker. "---, this is Rob--oh, shit, I totally spilled wine all over me! And I'm not even drunk yet!" Classy.), but I got all dressed up just to eat a dinner and wait for our car for an hour afterward. I think if we do go next year, we'll stay at the hotel again.
