FMF - D-list

Happy Friday! I have a busy day ahead, since we're getting on the vacation plane at 7:00 tonight and I haven't packed a thing yet. I'm leaving work at noon, so hopefully I'll have enough time to put everything in order.

This week's music is from the D-list--in more ways than one. The artists start with the letter D, in keeping with my current theme. Also, due to unknown technical problems, some of the songs I intended to post would not upload. So I had to find replacements, which ended up being whichever songs would upload for me without cratering mid-transfer.

OPEN WIDE for links...

UPDATE: Links expired/removed.

Whip It - Devo

Bodies - Drowning Pool*

Fire Sign - David Berkeley*

Walk of Life - Dire Straits*

And, because we're going to be rollin' down interstate 94 in just a few short hours...

Dream Vacation - Gear Daddies (hey, "Daddies" starts with a D!)

Right-click, save-as, and have a delightful weekend!

*These are the last-minute replacements. The ones I really wanted were Punk Rock Girl (Dead Milkmen), Come On Eileen (Dexy's Midnight Runners), and Anything, Anything (Dramarama). If you like these fill-ins better, thank the kosharis.

Come On Eileen is my all-time favorite running song. I just love it, even if what's his name is just creepy in the video!

Have a great trip!

I just knew 'My Band' from D-12 would be in the list.
