It's that time again. Sorry I missed last week...I didn't have my music library with me in Boston, and it was late when I got home. I suppose I could have posted Saturday, but...well, whatever. You get last week's music today!
In keeping with my ongoing theme, this week's music is from C artists.
UPDATE: Links expired.
The Wind - Cat Stevens
The Devil Went Down to Georgia - Charlie Daniels Band (a pretty decent workout song)
What Would You Do? - City High
This last one is breaking the theme a bit...or maybe just stretching it. The other day, amazon recommended some This American Life CDs to me...not sure why, since I'm not a big NPR listener/buyer. Anyway, the descriptions grabbed me, so I ordered a couple. I just finished the second set in the car today, and it was definitely the better of the two. There were a couple stories that were sort of eh, but there were a few that had me laughing out loud. This is one of them:
Squirrel Cop (WARNING: This is a 15 MB file, so may take some time to download.)
The CD it comes from is called Crimebusters & Crossed Wires: Stories from This American Life, which is how I wedged this in under my C theme. :) I highly recommend it, along with This American Life: Lies, Sissies, and Fiascoes, though I didn't like that one as much.
So, that's it. Right-click, save-as (especially for that last one), and have a great weekend!
