FMF - 80s, baby!

After searching in vain for a download of Nena's 99 Red Balloons (shut up), I finally had to break down and buy--gasp!--an actual CD. Or, as it turns out, a 3-CD 80s set.. There are a lot of songs on it that I didn't even recognize, but there were some where I was all, "hey, it's THAT song!"

So, here are some of those, in all their cheesy 80s glory. (I've listed them by lyrics rather than by name. Open wide, and see if you can guess the songs without/before downloading...)

UPDATE: Links expired.

I got it, I got it!
I got your number on the wall!
I got it, I got it!
For a good time, for a good time call....
(Okay, that one's too easy)

We're living in a powder keg and giving off sparks

See chameleon, lying there in the sun

Put on a little makeup makeup
Make sure they get your good side good side

And, of course, you knew I wouldn't forget this one...

I think of you...and let it go

Ah, good times. Right-click, save-as for the answer key. Hope your weekend is, like, totally bitchin. ;)

I have 99 Red Balloons, remixed (yes still by Nena) so it is a bit faster paced and a GREAT workout song :)

aha! another child of the 80s. thx for the music, but... I've got 'em all already. Those plus Dexy's Midnight Runners' "Come on, Eileen," of course. Which is a dirty little song when you really listen to it!

yep...that's why I was looking for it, Trish! I think this version's probably a little slower, but it still has a good walking beat.

Come On Eileen is in my rotation too. And Take On Me by a-ha. I think I will always consider that one a roller-skating song, since it always played at skating rink parties when I was a tween.
