I figure that since I was a day late last week, I'll make up for it by being a day early this week. :) As promised, this week's theme is love songs. OPEN WIDE for music...
UPDATE: Links expired/files removed.
In Your Eyes - Peter Gabriel I somehow missed Say Anything when it was in theaters in 1989, even though I was the prime target for it--15 years old, brainy, dateless. I saw it for the first time in college, I think, and an embarrassing number of viewings later, that serenade scene still gets me. I'm sure I'd find it terribly corny if it happened to me for real, but I totally would have married Lloyd Dobler. Hell, in some respects, I guess I did. My husband's definitely got some of his good qualities.
Con te partiro - Andrea Bocelli I'm not usually a huge fan of this type of music, but there's just something about this song. I don't even know what he's saying, but it sounds beautiful. :)
Love You More - James William Hindle This one is more my style, as anyone who has seen my playlists can attest. I'm a fool for that acoustic/folksy stuff.
Sweet Bride - Kate Rusby Love that accent.
And that's it for this week. Right-click, save-as, until we meet again.....
