Someone emailed me a couple days ago asking if I would share my workout playlist. Since I put the song list in an excel spreadsheet to email it to them, I figured I'd make the same file available on the site as well.
My workout playlist (Excel format--should open in most versions)
As of this writing, that's an accurate list, but I update it constantly when songs get stale or new songs catch my fancy. Probably 90% of the songs are available on iTunes, but there are at least a few that I picked up from blogs, old CDs, etc. that are not out there.
I use this playlist for all my workouts, starting with the song I want to hear most that day, and shuffling from there. Lately, I've been starting with Chihuahua* or The Rock Show*, but Pump It* is a favorite also.
Because I'll listen to anything once, the genres are all across the board. The only two things they really have in common are that they're all upbeat enough to keep up a good walking/biking/Precoring speed, and that I like them. Feel free to mock some of my more freaky musical tastes, if you like. :)
*iTunes links, not mp3s.
(Oh, and if anyone knows where I can get Slade's Run Runaway or Van Morrison's Precious Time without buying a whole CD or registering with some sketchy mp3 site, let me know. I've been looking for those songs for a while now.)
