Note to self: Write post, copy to Word, THEN save. Just in case, you know, MT stops responding in the middle of the save. And then, when you go back to your post that took you nearly all day to write in fits and spurts, it no longer exists. Because the copying to Word? That would keep you from wanting to throw your laptop on the floor and stomp on it. Just sayin'.
Well, back to the drawing board...
Posted by Joy at March 7, 2005 03:07 PMI find it helpful to write my posts in Word, thereby taking advantage of the spellcheck feature and the auto-save in case it crashes. THEN copy and paste into my blog... rather than the other way around. ;)

yeah, I've thought about doing it that way, too. :) Sometimes Word bugs me with its auto-corrections, though--like when I misspell things on purpose, or use odd capitalization. At least if it does this on a paste, I don't have to re-correct it unless the MT post fails. And, you know, I like to make my procedures as convoluted as possible. ;)
