I can delete all comments by one author, all at once! I can delete them before they appear on the site, even! If I knew anything about design, I could set up registration! I'm getting a little verklempt just thinking about it.

Until after the holidays, when I plan to shell out the cash for a site redesign, I'm going with unregistered commenting. However, all comments have to be approved before they will show up on the site, so if you comment and it doesn't appear, please don't send it more than twice. (Honestly, I'm not really sure how this works, so bear with me.)

Don't like the new comment policy, blame the &%$#@! spammers.

UPDATE: Don't like that you get a big fat error when you post a comment right now? Blame me. Sigh. Do know that I'm getting the comments, though...I just forgot to switch to the new comment template in my config file.

UPDATE 2: ...And create a "comment pending" template. But it's all fine now. The design of the pending template is sort of low-rent, but like I say--after the first of the year, I'm planning to get a redesign anyway. I'm getting sort of tired of this color scheme, and I want to change the sidebar. Skinning would be nice, too.

I read you all the time and enjoy what you have to say I always start a challenge and never finish I need to stick with it.. I know this is stupid and may piss you off but I love it when you add music for us to click and play I know nothing about how to do this or where to start but if you ever find "Baby it is cold outside" a Christmas song that would be great! I hope this does not make you mad keep up the goodwork M

hey--glad you like the music! I wasn't sure that anyone was actually downloading it (I haven't noticed much change in bandwidth use), so I'm glad to hear that someone is enjoying it.

Unfortunately, I don't have "Baby, It's Cold Outside". As it turns out, there are several versions, but the one you're probably thinking of is either the Ella Fitzgerald/Louis Jordan or Louis Armstrong one. They come up most often in iTunes, anyway. There's also one with Barry Manilow, Vanessa Williams, Harry Connick Jr., Rod Stewart, Henry Mancini, Jessica Simpson...the list goes on and on. But, alas, I don't have any of them in my music collection.

You could try a google search for the song title in quotes and "mp3", see if you can find a free download somewhere.
