Food tip: The fridge life of shredded cheese is definitely less than 2 months, unless you enjoy omelets that taste like mold. Oh--and if it smells moldy, it also tastes that way. Even if you pick out the moldy bits. Just FYI.
I'm not recording food here for the past few days, or today either. I'm going to start documenting it tomorrow, since that starts a new week. I SWEAR IN THE NAME OF ALL THAT IS HOLY that I am going to eat healthy next week. This is getting ridiculous. I'm not going to tell you how many points I ate yesterday, but let's just say that my 9 activity points were not enough to save me. Not by a long shot.
That said, I'm pretty sure I'm going to have a gain this week, partly because of the way I've been eating, and partly because I didn't start my new pill cycle yet. I keep forgetting to refill the prescription, and I'm also trying to work out the schedule so that I'm TOM-free for the wedding and the week after. As a result, though, I've been crying over pretty much every song on the radio, and there's no telling what's going to send me flying into a hormonal rage. Even with the eating and the hormones, though, I don't think I'll gain much. I haven't exactly been eating like a WW devotee, but I haven't been totally pigging out, either. I'd say between 1900 and 2500 calories/day from Friday through yesterday, which is much higher than normal, but low enough that I shouldn't gain more than a lb. The scale this morning was up a half-lb., which sucks, but it's no more than I expected. Real weigh in is tomorrow, though, and I plan to eat super-clean today. We'll see how it goes.
I did get plenty of volunteers for my cousin Henry's geography project--thanks to everyone who sent me addresses! I ended up with way more than I expected, so that was cool. I got home and realized that there were only 6 entry spaces in the travelog, with instructions to send it back when it was full. I had 8 volunteers by then, so I copied and added a 3rd sheet so everyone can play. I'm going to send it out over my lunch hour, and let the games begin.
Other than that, not a whole lot going on. The weather is beautiful today (high 60s, slight breeze, sunny), so I'm going to walk on the outside track for my lunch workout. My foot magically healed this weekend (probably due to copious hours of lying on the couch like a slug), and I was able to walk 3 miles with no pain. Except in my knee and hip, that is. Stupid joints.
