Whew...original title, eh? The sad thing is, it took me 3 minutes to come up with that.

So yeah, yesterday not such a good day. It started out well, but then I never did exercise and ate like a fat girl last night. Oh well.

There was something wrong with my foot when i was walking this morning, and it still hurts every time I stand up. I can't really explain what it's like...the bones aligned wrong, maybe? The pain starts when I put pressure on it, and it radiates up from the outside of my right foot through my ankle. It doesn't seem to be swollen, and it almost feels like there's some kind of circulatory problem on the bottom of my foot, but then there's that bone-ache that goes up through the ankle, too. By the 3rd mile of the walk this morning, I decided to just get home as fast as possible. By the time I got a block or so away from home, I was limping.

I'm going to rest it for a few days, only walking when I have to. I should be fine on the stationary bike/weight training for my lunchtime workout...it doesn't put any pressure on that part of my foot, which is really what brings on the pain. And if I'm going to work out at all this weekend, I need to get my bike's brakes fixed. Walking is out of the equation for a while.

In other news, Rob and I are going on a date tonight. Oddly, I'm not as excited about this one as I was for the Mexican food. But I am looking forward to it...it'll be the first time in a while that we did something alone. I've started to forget what that's like. Now we just need to decide what to do.

We're also going to try taking progress pictures this weekend. Someone complained a while back about our "recent picture" not really being all that recent, so I'd like to remedy that. I've found the digital camera again (there was one?), so it's really just a matter of posing individually, then getting someone to take a picture of the two of us together. And I think I've gotten to the point that I'm okay with real pictures, rather than virtual models. So...coming soon. I know I've said this before, but this time I mean it. Really. :)

I'm not sure how to feel about ranking below Papasito's on the excitement scale.

And here's a tip that makes those photos much easier to take - invest in an inexpensive tripod for your camera and use the self-timer.

I take progress pictures all the time, not necessarily to post up on my site (well some make it there), but mostly just for me to keep on my PC and look at from time to time to see how far I've come. It's really helpful.
