Seriousness

I weighed in at 195 this morning. This is not good...though not entirely surprising. I have yet to get back into the groove from my vacation, and I also screwed up my BC pills and my TOM came a wee bit early. Now I'm debating whether to just stop taking the pills till Sunday, because that would give me a chance to get back into a regular cycle again. (Probably more than you wanted to know...sorry)

Still, I'm going to be changing up my exercise regimen over the next few months. Rob and his workout partner have signed up for the Champions Fit marathon training program that starts this Saturday. I looked over the website and saw they had a walkers group, so I've signed up also. It's only $90 for 28 weeks, and there are various discounts and seminars that come with the package. I'll probably only do a half-marathon in January, if anything, but being part of a structured training program will be good for me, I think. Like Rob says, it can't do anything but help us, even if we aren't ready to run a marathon at the end of it.

I also bought those WATP dvds, which arrived yesterday. I haven't tried them yet, but plan on starting with the "get up and get started" one tonight. It's only a mile routine, so I figure I can get a good feel from it what the longer ones will be like. Sort of ease into it slowly.

The champions fit thing is 4 times per week, and if I do the WATP dvds a couple times a week, the FBW a couple times...I'll be pretty darn active.

Hopefully, this will give my weight loss a kick in the ass, because I'd really like to get out of the 190s this month.
